Psychodrama Training 2007


Semester 1


Dates: March 26 April 2, 16, 23, 30 May 7, 14, 21, 28 , 7.00 9.30 pm Saturday 26 May


This training is for people whos work is therapeutic or educational settings, with organisations or for those who are involved in community settings. The purpose of the training is to enhance spontaneity and creativity in ourselves and others and to enhance professional practice.


Content: The training will include the core principles, theory and techniques of the psychodramatic method. Specific attention will be paid to mirroring , doubling, role reversal, group work, spontaneity and creativity and the function of the auxiliary ego.


Method: The course is experiential with an opportunity for trainees to be a protagonist, an auxiliary ego, a group member and will include supervised practice. The application of the method will be explored through enactment, lecturetts and group discussion.


Semester 2


July 9, 16, 23, 30, August 6, 13, 27, September 3 , 10 Saturday 8 September


Content: Role Theory and Sociometry will be the main focus of this semester.

The trainer

Annette Fisher is the founder of the Psychodrama Training Institute of the ACT. She has a private practice and works with individuals and groups. She also conducts both individual and group professional supervision and is a consultant to number of organisations. She is also a practising artist and enjoys applying creativity to clinical practice.
